Authentic rugs are made of pure wool. It takes a lot of time to prepare wool for use as well as the process of weaving.

Among well-known Navajo rugs artists working in different styles are Sarah Ashley, Amelia Begay or Emma Begay. Prices for Navajo rugs vary reaching 700 dollars. Not very cheap thing but certainly there are people who value folk art.
